Handmade Christmas Gift A Pretty Poncho

I've been busy making Christmas gifts this year and this is a poncho I made. Actually I made two, one for each of my daughters. It's made of a soft fleece fabric and has an edging made of a pink and brown cotton fabric. I appliqued a bird on a branch, the branch is hand embroidery and it has pink buttons for accent.

I got the pattern from a book named Sew Pretty Christmas Homestyle. This book has so many pretty things in it. I mean really pretty!

The photography in this book is exceptional, makes me want to make everything in it.

This is the picture from the book, and as you can see, I made a few minor changes. I think my girls will like it.
