Barbie Crochet English Country Dress Costume

Step back in time with this gorgeous English Country 1790's Barbie costume. The generous full skirt is created in a beautifully textured chevron stitch which forms peaks at the hem. Under the skirt are multi-layers of crinoline.

Styled after the French, the bodice is tightly fitted with a deep "V" waist and low, off the shoulder neckline.

The bodice has pretty pearl and lace trim.

The charming hat is made in the same fancy stitch and decorated with white feathers, lace and blue sheer bow.

This outfit took about two weeks to make and involves thousands of stitches. Pearls were crocheted, one-by-one into the dress and hat.
